Some people have mentioned the NCSA GelReader program for
Macs, so I ftp'd it today and we had a look. It seems to
be quite nice, but what we are really dreaming of is a program
which reads your TIFF (or whatever) file, you mark the lanes and
it outputs the sequence.
Is there a program like this (either for Mac or PC)? BTW, I read
in the MacVector manual today about the IBI Gel Reader. Is such
a system considered better than an automagical system as described
above?
