I just "approved" an new mailfasta v3.0 for UNIX and NCBI and GRAIL
shells for VMS. They have been posted to bionet.software.sources
as share files. The original posters were Thon De Boer and Foteos Macrides
Since the E-mail server at genbank.bio.net will soon disappear over
the blue event horizon it is good that these new scripts are now
available since it will ensure continuity of service. Nice work.
I am particularly impressed by mailfasta since it allows
fasta, blast, blocks, grail, searches, which means that it
is pointing at different server sites on the internet.
Fasta for example is pointing to Japan.
