Hello netters,
our lab is pondering about buying a scanner to evaluate DNA
sequence films. Before spending huge amounts of money :-)
I would be very happy if you would share your experiences
with some of my colleagues who are very sceptical about
BioNet. Thus I would be glad if you'd response by
email (since those colleagues don't have a Usenet access)
to hashemol at mpib-tuebingen.mpg.dbp.de.
In particular we would be interested if we should buy
a specialized system (such as advertised by IntelliGenetics
in a recent Nature issue) or if things could be worked
out with a scanner and some additional software.
Software may be Mac- or PC-based.
Thanks in advance, Cornelius.
