MAC Screen Capture Program

I'm sure this request has been asked before....so my apologies.

Would someone kindly send me information (name and ftp site) for either
a freeware or shareware MAC program for screen capture of graphics that
can then be converted into PICT, TIF, etc. Thanks in advance.
