I saw a recent posting in comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc mentioning that the
public domain NCSA Telnet program for the PC now has SLIP capability,
but that there have been a lot of bugs reported in it. Other than
that, I am sure that, if one wants to find more info, posting to that
USENET forum would get an answer.
