This is correct. The program was not put there by us: a search on the archive
server revealed it - dastardly work by us, eh? If you dont believe it, why
not check. The site is in Germany, and has ask-sam in the name title.
If programs are put on anonymous ftp sites, then you can`t blame
people for downloading them.

For your information, Jennings colleague has sent the $50 cheque to
Swofford several months ago to get the full version of the PAUP program,
including documentation, and has not recieved anything in reply. Whether
the cheque has been cashed I do not know, but if it has then perhaps
we will be merciful and not prosecute Swofford for non-delivery of paid
for goods.
