Expiration here - a biologically oriented site on a Silicon Graphics -

The NEWS disk reserved is about 400MByte, including some
Archives and scratch space for processing.
We keep comp,news,sci,bionet,eunet, and
embnet (the new NEWS hierarchy for molecular biology in Europe),
and unibas (the local university hierarchy), and ch (the
national news hierarcy).

disk space used here with these numbers, in 1024 Byte blocks
97 bionet/announce
74 bionet/biology
408 bionet/general
91 bionet/genome

The total is (again, in 1024 K blocks),

Maybe this helps.
