I can't answer for EMBL, of course, but anything that appears on
bionet.software.sources will appear on the Gene-Server. Since the
e-mail files are mirrored into the FTP area of ftp.bchs.uh.edu,
nic.funet.fi will pick them up. Also, I periodically send files that
EMBL and IUBIO don't appear to have to them, so I think there is
effective, but non-automatic, mirroring in general.
