Sonic Digitizer Info wanted

We are looking for information / source code/ specs which would
enable us to use the sonic digitizer (GelMate 2000) for some
custom applications in our laboratory. Mostly we would like to
be able to grab the stream of serial data from the digitizer
and get x,y coordinates.
