No one mentioned sequence retrieval from the UH Gene-Server either.
Sequences can be retrieved by locus name (entry name for PIR entries),
by accession number, by keyword, or by author.

        gene-server at bchs.uh.edu
or
        gene-server%bchs.uh.edu at CUNYVM
will get you started.
