Couldn't get the PC-Gopher Client program to run. The support group at
U of Minn tried, but couldn't resolve the problem. I was exploring the
alt.gopher newsgroup, and ran across a report of a problem running PC-Gopher
when also running McAfee's Vshield TSR for anti computer virus protection.
Since I use Vshield as my computer condom, I rebooted with that remarked out
and reset PC-Gopher from the .zip file. Setting the configuration file took
all of 5 minutes and it worked like a charm.
Gopher works like a charm and I recommend it highly. Thanks to contributors
