A wee bit of a problem....
I've just recently downloaded a series of PlotA applications via TurboGopher
from IUBio. When using the applications for evaluating secondary structure
potential (PLOT.A/GOR and /GRR) the output file (NOT the graphical
representation of the analysis) consistently shows deletion of a single aa at
the start of each new line of sequence. This occurs regardless of the format of
the file loaded into these programs (Edit, Strider, BBEdit) or the format of
the output file. The same phenomenon occurs even when the example sequence
files accompanying other PLOT.A programs are used.
FYI. I'm using the compiled versions of these programs on a Mac IIci.
If anyone has any suggestions, please post to this group as my account will be
