try command-shift-3 (the command is the butterfly to the left of the space
bar)...this is apples own screen capture utility. by the way, i saw at the
macworld festival a screen sequence capture utility (cameraman) that uses
quicktime to capture a sequence of screen events (animation, pulling down
menues, mouse tracks, or whatever).
