Mac & Sun justification

A group of us here at Central Connecticut State Univ. Bio Dept. are trying
to expand our computer facilities.  I know that we need a Macintosh and
shouldn't have too much trouble justifying it's use, but I was wondering
what biological applications a Sun Station might have in our department.
If anyone has information that would help me justify get a Macintosh or
Sun Station to the sages with all the money, I would appreciate it.
