I have read a very interesting paper by Geoffrey J. Barton, CABIOS 7,1:85-88
(1991), "Scanning protein sequence databanks using a distributed processing
workstation network".
The programme PSCAN is said to be available for academic users:
"The source code and details of the implementation of pscan are available
to academic users on a variety of media, or via electronic mail.
Do someone have the e-mail address or ftp-address where I can get pscan?
