Yep, you're "totally wrong" :-). The files you referenced are actually for
a program which renders PostScript (ps...) onto a canvas. The Readme file
is as follows :

	This directory contains the source for the XVPS extension to the
	XView toolkit.  XVPS is a postscript extension to XView.  It allows
	rendering postcript into a canvas.  It requires the X11/NeWS server and
	the cps program which comes with OpenWindows.  If you have neither,
	this source is a good example of how to subclass a new object off
	an existing toolkit object.  For more info on subclassing see
	the XView Programming Manual from O'Reilly & Associates, Inc.  Chapter
	22.



I haven't found PSCAN anywhere on the networks - your best bet is to write
the authors and they'll probably e-mail you a copy.  If you know roughly where
they are you may be able to track down their e-mail address with netfind.  If
all else fails send in one of those little cards in the back of CABIOS and indicate the program about which you'd like more information.
