I've been wondering about the availability of software which is able to search
for and extract entries from the biological databases with which we're all fami
liar - LiMB, SEQANLRF, REBASE, ENZYME etc.... These are quite useful databases
but I would find them much more so if I had some software with which to manage
them. I have access to machines running Unix, Ultrix, VM/CMS, VMS and of course
PCs and Macs. I'd appreciate any information about ftp'able database software
and will summarize and repost if so desired.
