On a "BITNET-only" node like ours, this typically happens when a user
subscribes to a number of forums that "sound interesting" and then all of the
postings come in to his/her one Email account. The "solution" is to set up a
system bboard which, though it gets its input via Email subscriptions,
thereafter functions like a UseNet NEWS reader.
