There are plenty of programmers working with Macintoshes. However I think
Peter's point was that few programmers of mapping software use Macintoshes.

A Macintosh version of Mapmaker is available and it seems to work fine with
System 7 and virtual memory. I'll check on its distribution status. This
Macintosh version implements most of the Mapmaker v2 features as produced
by Landers and Lincoln at one of those fine institutions of Biomedical
research in the Boston area. I believe Dupont controls the Macintosh version
but again, I'll have to check.
