I understand your desire for reducing redundancy. However, what you said
about "editing" has important implications. I've often picked up something
from a side comment that might have been edited out by someone else because
it wasn't directly related to the point.
Maybe it's just me and the way I seem to learn things, but redundancy helps
me learn. I'll put up with that to get the other.
