Never used the 3700 or it's software but it is possible that various
bits are now no longer set to autostart as a service when the computer
boots.

Assuming Win2K

Make a note of the service name, if it gives one, then as administrator
to the computer go to control panel, open administrative tools then
Services.

Go down the list and see if your names are there. If so I bet it/they
say(s) Startup type is manual. Right click on each name and select
properties and alter Startup type on the General tab to automatic or in
the first instance just start them. If the 3700 software will now run
you can go back and change them to automatic.

If the service is not there then it means the software has not installed
them and there is nothing I can suggest further other than an engineer
or a user that knows what to do.

Good luck
