What happened to POP37 for the 3700?

It has been well over two years since there were announcements of the
impending release of POP37 for the ABI 3700. Word was that beta test sites had
gotten great results with it. "Thousand base reads" and "10-12 runs per day"
were phrases I heard associated with it. Also, unlike POP5, it was touted as
being suitable for use as a sequencing and a fragment analysis polymer.
Anybody know what happened? Why was it never released? Since the release of
the 3730XL is there no hope that this polymer will ever be released?
