Samantha,
Are you using the .2 mm or .4 mm combs and spacers. we used to use the
.4 mm combs and had similar problems with leaking. We switched to the
.2 mm combs and found that they tend to not leak as much or as often We
also clamp along the top of the gel where we are placing the combs.
Meaning that the binder clamps are placed so the put pressure where the
casting part of the comb is placed to make a tighter fit.
Also over time the teeth tend to wear out as you may have noticed and
actually should be thinner than the casting side of the comb to ensure
an easier fit.
