Hi All,
I work for a group performing a sequencing service for a large number
of departments within the company, we are using 2 3100s and 1 3700
(when its actually working).
The only problem we've had with the 3100s is the way the data is
stored. The 3700 generates a single folder for each plate of 96
samples (which is perfect for us), but the 3100 creates a folder for
each run of 16 samples. So, we end up with 6 folder for each complete
plate, which we have to combine so that we can run our QC on the data.
Does anyone have any way of automatically combining all the folders
generated for one plate? We thought about writing a program to do
this, but we haven't figured out a way of dealing with incomplete
plates (when we don't do the full 6 runs for a plate).
any help or a point in the right direction would be most appreciated.
