DNA Sequence Editor/Finisher
The HGMP Resource Centre, located on the Genome Campus in Hinxton, near Cambridge,
is playing a central role in a large scale UK-wide Comparative Genomics Project.
We are looking for one more finisher to complete the team.
Your role would be to assemble and edit sequence to 99.99% accuracy whilst leading
two or three clone projects simultaneously to agreed schedules. You should have
experience of automated DNA sequencing sequence analysis and be able to demonstrate
a meticulous approach to work when faced with demanding deadlines.
The starting salary will be in the range of 16,000-19,000 GBP per annum (MRC pay band 5)
depending on qualifications and previous experience. The post is available until
30 September 2002 in the first instance and an optional MRC Pension Scheme is available.
