3100 opinions?

Hi,

We are thinking of getting a new ABI 3100 in our core facility to
replace our 9 year old 373 which we don't use too much anymore, and
possibly also our 377 which runs one 48 well gel everyday (with a 5-7
day queue).

Any opinions on this new machine?
We think the 3700 will not be any good because we don't have the
constant high throughput required to keep it going but the 16 capilliary
3100 sounds like a much better prospect.

Not having had any experience of capilliary machines, what are the
consumable costs like and daily maintenance required?

Thanks in advance.

Kev
