Research Associate/Assistant
Agy Therapeutics, a new biotech startup located in South San Francisco,
has an immediate opening in the DNA sequencing facility.
The person in this position will be responsible for the daily
operations; preparation of sequencing gels, operation of ABI 377
automated sequencers, computer analysis of primary sequence data,
record-keeping, troubleshooting and soliciting technical support. The
applicant must be able to work independently, be highly organized,
efficient, responsible, possess good communication skills, and be ready
to participate in the growth of the facility to meet the needs of Agy
Therapeutics.
This position requires several years of experience with automated DNA
sequencer technology, with DNA analysis software on Mac platforms, and
with common molecular biology techniques. If you recognize these
