We have tried Bruce Roe's protocols for BAC sequencing and they work
very well (700 bases of clean data). However, you might be interested
in a very quick and easy method of preparing BAC DNA for sequencing. We
have tried the ProPrep BAC DNA purification kit from LigoChem, Inc.
(phone 973-575-0082, FAX 973-575-8494) and are impressed with how easy
it is to use and how well it works. (Thanks Primo for the tip!)
