Our production facility uses 2 min vortex
15min (60% final EtOH concentration- including rxn volume) precip at
room temp.
45 min spin at 3200rpm in a beckman GS-6.
Flip spin 500rpm 4 mins

dry at 37 deg C

Other column protocols we have tried are still in development are
Millipores spin plate
It's basically a G-50 spin plate. We loose a well or two each plate
randomly to the columns that our EtOH precip controls never loose. but
it's quick
