Hi,
I have followed with interest the problems people have been having with
373 and 377 gels, concerning them fading out after a cetrain number of
base pairs. Our lab has had the same problems with 377 gels and is trying
to solve it by acid/alkali washes. We have now come across another
problem where our bands fade out in the middle section of the gel after
about 200 bases then these reappear as if by magic. Has anyone else seen
this and maybe already solved it?
