Anybody ever experience a big blue blob that appears during a sequence run
on an ABI 377 using 4% acrylamide? It will typically appear after the run
has started and will mask between 5 and 30 out of 36 reads!! It's
probably
a problem with gel composition but I am unsure exactly what could be
affecting the mix. It occurs with about 1 in 20 gels. Any suggestions to
fix the problem are welcome.
