I would be grateful for any information regarding the use of
DNA gene chips for sequencing.
I am interested in the followings :
(1) Can you sequences from mRNA or does it only work on DNA
(2) How clean does your DNA has to be?
(3) How much does it cost to manufacture a chip via VLSI?
(4) How does the detections system work assuming that the technology is
based on hybridisation?
(5) What is the maximum length that one can sequence on a chip with no
problems?
(6) How does the chip cope with heterozygote detection?
