Greetings!
The DNA Core Facility at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (with a 373
Automated Sequencer) is in the process of searching for future funding
for the facility. We'd like to be armed with some statistics before we
present our case to administrators. We are wondering:
1) How are other sequencing facilitites funded?
2) What is the salary range for a technician running the facility?
3) Does anyone have any figures regarding the number of sequencers at
universitites/colleges?
We appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have for us.
