I have recently started getting blank patches in gels run on an ABI
373 sequencer. These appear as black holes on the gel image where the
detection appears to be blocked. We have 2 sequencers and the problem
occurs on both. I have used the 373 in exactly the same way for 3
years with no problems.
I have contacted ABI who say that our machines
are OK but have no explanation of our problems.
I would be greatful for any advice on this problem.
