Hi all,
while we're sort of on the subject of software, I wonder if
anyone can help me. Is there any IBM PC based software available
which will allow my people to look at and edit sequencing
electropherograms on their PCs? At the moment most folks have to
queue up to use my two Macs, and one of them is on loan and will be
reclaimed soon. I'm having difficulty getting funding for a second
Mac of my own.
Our IT services will not support Apples at all and can't connect them
to our network, so I guess I'm stuck with copying e'gram files onto
floppies to move them around - unless anyone knows better. Perhaps
Iomega Zip disks???
I spoke to Roger Derbyshire (ABI Warrington) about this a while back,
but wonder if any progress has been made in the mean time.
Any help will be appreciated.
