Announcement:

CITA.

CITA is a CORBA interface to ACEDB databases. The IDL is based on the
prototype ACEDB C API, the AcePerl API and the Jade API. While some
features are still under development, a working server has been produced
in Perl, using AcePerl to access the databases, a few Java applet
clients have been developed and work has started on a C based server.

For more information on CITA, distributions and a small selection of
Java clients for use with CITA look at:

Enjoy.

This work is being funded by the BBSRC UKCropNet initiative.
