Fix for ace running under Linux

Concerning Immanuel V. Yap's extra lines in timeStruct(), I have confirmed
that these are in the current source code, and so the fix will be in the
next release.  The problem was in fact noticed and fixed in our code
earlier this year by Lincoln Stein.  Thanks, though, Noel, for mailing
the fix.
