INSTALL script does not work...

Hello


I got all the files according the to the instructions! (binary files,
and update.WS* files) I kept all the files in the home directory 
from where I install the acedb.

I sourced INSTALL script, it said installation is complete(!)

Then I ran acedb and clicked on 'Add update File' I got a new window
I clicked on All updates and it said

'Could not find file
  /disk2/chenna/acedb/rawdata/update.4.1 '
 

Now 
  I have the files update.WS* in the home directory. 
  
  How can i update with/without INSTALL script ?
