GelPatterns and Contig editor

Hi,

I have been trying to use the Fingerprint tool and the Contig Editor in acedb.3-3
but without much success. Could anybody familiar with these features point me in the
right direction ?

I have parsed some data following the model :

?YAC Gel ?Probe  #Lane  // Magic tag2 construct

?Lane UNIQUE Bands UNIQUE Float REPEAT
             Band_Lengths  UNIQUE Float REPEAT
             Band Float Text    


But I only get Text displays. 
How does one actually get the lanes on the screen ?
