Dear everyone

I am trying to measure the transport of radioactively labelled (3H)
cyclosporin (eleven aminoacids in cirle, 1200 Da) through the plasma
membrane of S. cerevisiae. Unexpectably I did not get any meaningful
values- it looks like cyclosporin does not enter the cells at all. I
use whole cells with cell walls (for to withstand the
filtration). What could be wrong?

Thanks very much
