Postdoctoral Positions Available
We have immediate openings for two postdoctoral associates with
experience in yeast genetics and/or molecular or cellular biology.
The projects involve using yeast as a model organism for the study of
the causes of neurodegenerative diseases and of the quiescent state
of the eukaryotic cell. There will be opportunities for interaction
with Sue Lindquist and Tiago Outeiro at the Whitehead Institute at
MIT; Peter Lansbury of Harvard Medical School; Joe Gray at the
University of Glasgow; Mark Gerstein at Yale; and Gerry Johnston and
Rick Singer at Dalhousie University. There will also be an
opportunity to learn techniques in structural biology (i.e., protein
crystallography) if desired. Brandeis University is located just a
few miles outside Boston, Massachsetts, and is an outstanding
