Dear Friends,
Just in case you haven't already heard, there will be a great meeting on
"Post genomics applied to processes: advances in eukaryotic microbiology"
in Manchester on 10-11 September, 2003. This joint meeting is organised by
the Eukaryotic Group of the SGM, the British Mycological Society and the
British Society for Medical Mycology. Information is available on the
websites of these societies [e.g. at
http://www.socgenmicrobiol.org.uk/MTGPAGES/Umist.htm ].
The deadline for submission of abstracts has just passed (!!), but please
go ahead and submit an abstract quickly if you are interested. The
abstract submission form is at
http://www.socgenmicrobiol.org.uk/MTGPAGES/AbsSubmFmWord.doc. Remember that
postgraduate members can apply to the SGM for grants to cover the costs
accommodation and travel to SGM meetings, and information on these grants
is at http://www.socgenmicrobiol.org.uk/PA/gran_fun/pg.htm
Very best wishes,
Al
