Hi All,
I am currently looking at 2 proteins in S. pombe but there is very little
in the literature on what I think they involved in.
One I believe is involved in the early endocytic pathway from the pattern
of its localisation, but have no way to test this an no papers to compare
to this. Does anyone know of any mutant strains or methods that I could
use to test this hypothesis? Also, does anyone know if S. pombe has
heparans incorporated into its cell membrane or wall?
The other protein appears to be involved in the CopI pathway of protein
return to the ER from the Golgi. Again, does anyone know of and methods or
mutant strains I could use to test this?
Thanks in advance,
Trevor.
