tet-induction on plates

I am interested in conducting a conditional screen using the
TET-inducible system. My doxycycline plates do not induce expression
of my protein, however my protein induces normally in liquid culture
with doxycycline. Has anyone successfully made antibiotic plates that
induce the TET system? Or are there any suggestions?

I appreciate your help.
