Dear Colleagues,

Due to a sequence change on Chr XI, the ORFs YKL198C and
YKT9/YKL199C have been merged in SGD. PTK1 has been kept as the
standard name for the new, elongated ORF; YKT9 and YKL199C have been
kept as aliases for PTK1/YKL198C. Further details about this sequence
change can be found at:

		http://genome-www4.stanford.edu/cgi-
bin/SGD/locusHistory.pl?sgdid=S0001681

The URL for PTK1/YKL198C locus page is:

		http://genome-www4.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/SGD/locus.pl?locus=ptk1

Please contact SGD (yeast-curator at genome.stanford.edu) if you have any
questions or comments about this sequence change.

Cheers,
Anand
