2nd International Meeting on Yeast Apoptosis

Dear Colleagues:

Please find information below regarding the upcoming 2nd International
Meeting on Yeast Apoptosis (IMYA) hosted by the Faculty of Sciences,
Comenius University and Cancer Research Institute, Slovak Academy of
Sciences from September 17 - September 20 of the current year .

2nd International Meeting on Yeast Apoptosis

An International symposium to be held at Smolenice castle,  near Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

Speakers will  include:

Michael Breitenbach (University of Salzburg), William Burhans (Roswell
Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo), Wilfried Bursch (Institut fur
Krebsforschung der Universitat Wien), Manuela Corte-Real (University
of Minho, Braga), Ian Dawes (University of New South Wales), Michael
Forte (Vollum Institute, Oregon Health and Sciences University), David
Goldfarb (University of Rochester), Michal Jazwinski (Louisiana State
University Health Sciences Center), Frank Madeo (University of
Tubingen), Stephen Manon (IBGC/CNRS, Universite de Bordeaux 2),
Charles Rudin (University of Chicago) . . . . . . . . .

and others!

The meeting will bring together the leading researchers in yeast cell
death and aging research to present their latest findings. There will
be sessions devoted to the understanding of molecular mechanisms of
cell death and cell aging, as well as session on the evolutionary
aspects of apoptosis.

The registration, abstracts submission, and information pages are

page will be soon available. Please note that we can accept only a
limited number of participants selected on the basis of the date of
