Yeast deletion nomenclature

Hi,
Im start my work using yeast strains and I have a question:
What means URA3(delta)0?..Im think that is a deletion of the Ura gene,
but im not sure.
Is possible to select this strain with a plasmid containing URA3 marker
in a ura deficient medium?
