YNB fluorescence

Hi all -

I am trying to use CFP as a fusion tag for fluorescence measurements in
yeast. However, I find that YNB is highly fluorescent when excited at 450
nm and completely swamps my CFP signal. has anyone seen this problem
before? Does anyone know of a good source for low fluorescence YNB or a
good replacement for it?

Thanks,
Kurt
