A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of James McNew
in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice
University. The research will focus on the mechanism of viral
membrane fusion using HTLV-1 as a model fusion protein. We are
seeking a highly motivated individual with previous experience
expressing recombinant HTLV-1 gp21. Additional knowledge of other
viral fusion proteins would also be beneficial.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. and publications in internationally
recognized journals. To apply, please email as CV, a statement of
research experience, and names of three references to mcnew at rice.edu.
