Two positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Neta Dean at State
University of New York, Stony Brook.  The first is at the level of
postdoctoral fellow and requires a Ph.D, with experience in molecular
biology and preferably some knowledge of yeast genetics and/or
glycobiology.  The project involves studying cell wall and mannan
biosynthesis in Candida albicans and the role of the cell wall
mannoproteins in fungal pathogenesis.

The second position (Research Tech II) requires a BS degree and the
ability to repair and troubleshoot computer operating systems (Mac) In
addition to being responsible for lab computers, this individual will
also be responsible for lab maintenance.  Approximately 50% of time will
be also be devoted to performing research involving molecular biology.
